We work with a small group of dyers, weavers, embroiderers and tailors whose ambition is to manufacture high quality and timeless garments. We use deadstock fabrics as much as we can. We collaborate with a Mexican army supplier in Downtown Mexico City and an Italian fabric importer in Merida. The prints are exclusively designed for Blu Paraiso and are printed with biodegradable inks water saving digital printers.

WHY LIMITED AVAILABILITY?

As a small, artisan based and quality focused business, we can only produce garments in limited numbers. This philosophy allows us to get the exact quantity of fabric, give the time to our ateliers to do a fantastic job and avoid overproduction. That’s the reason you will often find only 20 pieces or so available on our website.

We love using deadstock fabrics but we can’t guarantee their availability! We aim at reducing fabric wastage and avoid overproduction. These are the reasons why we’ve developed a preorder option on our website. This philosophy allows us to get the exact quantity of fabric and give the time to our ateliers to do a fantastic job for our customers.

MADE TO ORDER

Our made to order pieces are unique designs that represent a large amount of handwork for our artisans or are made of deadstock fabrics (or both). By purchasing such pieces, you will support native communities across the country and enjoy exclusive designs. Such pieces can only be made to order due to their elevated cost.

HAND EMBROIDERED VINTAGE

Our curated selection of vintage is unique and only available in the size displayed on the product page. Most parts of our pieces are sourced in the United States. Our embroideries are made by hand in Mexico. We collaborate with suppliers based in Mexico city and in the state of Michoacan.
